Some birthday cards

It's a bit scary, displaying my cards here. I know, it's my craft blog, but still.
As I've not been very good at taking photos of my cards earlier - I'm more of a 'take a ton of pics when I accidentally remember that I have a camera' kind of gal even though I love taking them. I guess I have to improve on that from now on - these are but a few of my earlier birthday card creations.
Have a peek and feel free to leave a comment.

Etsy for Inspiration!

I'm a hoarder! Not a hoarder of stuff.  My house house and even my craft supplies are pretty organised and de-cluttered. I hoard information. I hoard for inspiration and education. One of my favourite places of inspiration these days is http://www.etsy.com. I found the site when I bought my first digistamp. I receive their newsletter and check out the items and designers I find interesting, whether it comes to jewelry, bags, journals, clothes, ceramics and of course paper crafting. I look for patterns, colour combinations, textures, quirky elements, anything that grabs my fancy. I store my findings in my account and dive into them when I need a little extra to get my creativity going.

So my suggestion to you is to stop by Etsy to get inspired:o)

What I aspire to

I found this gorgeous card on the Hero Club Blog and fell in love with it. It's simple, the colour combination is beautiful and the choice of textures really appeal to me. This is what I aspire to in my creations. I want them to be opulent and rich without being cluttered. I have a long way to go, but creations such as ::aga::'s are truly inspirational.
Thank you:o)

Welcome to Pia's CraftoPia

I've finally managed to set up a blog to share my paper craft ideas, projects etc. with the world. Or, at least a tiny part of it. As you can see I'm very much in the developing phase, and would appreciate ideas as to where I can find nice background papers etc. Any suggestions are, in fact, very welcome.
